After just nabbing her fourth Grammy, Carrie Underwood is nominated for three Academy of Country Music awards. The exciting news came today, as Kellie Pickler stood beside Jessica Simpson, Julianne Hough, and LeAnn Rimes to make the announcement.
One of the categories in which Carrie is nominated is Entertainer of Year. If Carrie wins this, she will be only the 7th female to take the award; previous winners include Loretta Lynn in 1975, Reba McEntire in 1994 and most recently Dixie Chicks in 2000. Carrie is also nominated for Top Female Vocalist, and her video "Just a Dream" is nominated for Video of the Year. If she wins Top Female Vocalist, it will be the third consecutive year she has won the category.
